  If you want to save money , you can order it online without an eye exam or prescription as you have good vision . But it is not recommended for safe reason.

  I have seen some opticians inside Walmart..probably they are cheap. Not sure if they are good enough though.

  Definitely you need . The exam for contacts and glasses are quite different . Don't save the money at the risk of your eyes' health.

  Before the exam ,you should tell the doctor you have been taking addrall.It is possible that they will be able to examine your eyes without any further dilation.

• Where to do eye exam only to see if I need glasses, but not sell glasses?

  An optician would do the job to check whether you need glasses,but they could sale their glasses to you and get much benefit from it. So it is better to go to an optometrist.
