To postpone presbyopia, you should form a good habit of living habit. Don't stay up late and overuse your eyes. Keep nutritious diet and take more food high in Vitanmin A and C. Doing eye exercise everyday would also help. Remember to have your eyes examined regularly.

Which one is better in UV protection, Photochromic lenses or Polarized lens?
Both of them can give 100% UV protection. If you drive a lot, I would suggest you to get polarized lens. They can reduce reflective glare which photochromic does NOT. The photochromic lenses will start to fade in 2 years.

What lens index should I get for my prescription glasses?
Your prescription is strong, so I think 1.67 index will make your lens much thinner and give you a better look. However, you should consult your doctor to determine which one will suit you best.
-
What's the lowest degree you can get for non- prescription reading glasses?
The lowest degree for the non-prescription reading glasses may be 0.50. You can go to the drug store to get this kind of reading glasses.
-
Can I make the tinted lenses lighter without replacing the lens?
If the gradient color is in a coating, not in the lens, you may probably change the color. Try to take them to the optical store and ask. Maybe there are some chemical material that can remove it and make the lens retinted.
-
How to protect my eyes when swimming?
You should choose the swimming pool with clean water and less pollution. Use some antibiotic eye drops before and after swimming. It is better to get a pair of swimming goggles to protect your eyes.
