Is it ok for children to wear anti-glare glasses?
Children are able to wear anti-glare glasses if they do need. However, the anti-glare coating may be easy to get damaged because children are too careful and can't take good care of them.

What kind of cleaners are good to clean glasses with anti-glare coating?
Aplly several drops of a mild dishwater detergent into the water and mix them up. Then soap your lenses into the water and gently rub your lenses with your finger. Finally, rinse your glasses under warm, running water and dry them with soft cloth. The mild dishwater detergent won't harm your lens.

What is the worst prescription for my eyes?
If you have a good habit of using eyes and keep a strong body,I think the worst prescription should be no more than -8.5.Ask your doctor for more suggestion to prevent your eyes from getting worse.

Is it better to wear a slightly weaker glasses than your eyes prescription?
Since you feel dizzy at closer objects with your original prescription, you should take your doctor's advice to wear a slightly weaker glasses which you can get used to quickly. Once my doctor suggested me wear weaker glasses that I can see more clearly than my original prescription. And I feel comfortable when I wear them all day now. So I think it is better to wear a slightly weaker glasses.

What is the difference between transition and anti-glare lenses?
Transition glasses can change color from clear to dark due to the exposure to the UV rays. When you go outside, it turn dark just like sunglasses. When you go indoors, it will turn clear just like regular glasses. Anti-glare glasses are used to reduce the glare from the surface like water, glass and snow. So it just depends on your purpose. If you want to wear your glasses all day, then you can choose transition glasses. If you just want to the glasses that can reduce the glare, then you should choose the anti-glare glasses.
-
Can the Anti glare coating be added to the lens?
Of course you can. You can take your glasses back to your optician where you bought your glasses. Their lab will add the anti-glare coating on your lenses. But it may be costly. You can contact your optician to determine whether they are willing to do it for you.
-
What are the advantages and disadvantages of anti glare glasses?
In my opinion, anti-glare glasses can be used for night driving because they can reduce nighttime distortions so as to provide a clear vision for drivers. However, the anti-glare coating will add the weight to the lenses especially for the high prescription lenses, so people will find uncomfortable to wear them all day.
