• What can be used as an alternative to contact lens solution?

  You can use the saline as a replacement for temporary use. But you still need to soak it in the solution for one day to disinfect if you get new solution.

• What to change if I want reading glasses?

  If your prescription is within the expiration time, you can use your old prescription, but make sure ADD number is on your prescription which is specially needed for reading glasses.If not, you should go and to have your eyes examined again to get a new prescription and tell your doctor this pair is for reading glasses.

• Which contact lens solution is best for cleaning and preserving the contacts ?

  I don't think the solution can prolong the life of your contacts. They are only used to clean and disinfect the contacts.Whether it can last long depends on the material properties of the lens itself ,the patient's physiology and the users' care to them.

• What sunglasses should i use for baseball?

  Oakley is the best in sports sunglasses, I think. You can go to their official site to have a look.

• Would it be possible that I use my eyeglass Rx for my Contact Rx?

  Your glasses prescription may not be the same as your contact lens rx. Getting contacts is not just about getting the right prescription, it is important to get an eye exam as well in order to make sure that it fits. If a lens is not fitting properly on the eye it may cause discomfort and damage to the eye. Although it is a pain and cost some money, it is important to make sure you get fitted with in an examination.

• Any good shopping experience with online RX glasses?

  Of course they are reliable.I got most of my glasses online,they are quite cheap and stylish.If you are lucky enough,you can get it for free if they are on sale.

• Are there any lenses less thick and don't make my eyes look small?

  There are a several grades of "thin" lens that look like normal lenses. You can choose the high index lenses that can make your lens much thinner ,but usually they are more expensive, but worth it. Any optical shop will have them. Just ask!

• Can eye doctor convert eyeglasses RX into Contacts RX?

  The power of contacts can be calculated from that of glasses.Here is a formula :Fo=Fs/(1-dFs).The Fo means your power of your contacts and Fs means the power of glasses.dFs means the distance between rear vertex of glasses and your cornea.Usually the dFs should be measured by meter and it is 0.012m for easterners.For example,the RX of glasses is -4.00,the dFs is 0.012m,we can know that your RX for contacts should be -3.82,but this result is not a regular RX,so we choose the proximal and a lower number , it should be -3.75 . Hope these can help. But even if you can make out the RX,you still need an eye exam for contacts.
