• What kind of lens coatings should I get for a new pair of eyeglasses?

  That will depend on the purpose that you get your glasses. If you use your glasses to drive, an anti-glare coating is necessary because it can help you reduce the glare while driving. UV protection is needed when you go outside and need your glasses to block the harmful UV rays. An anti-scratch coating can porotect your glasses lens from being scratched so that your glasses can last longer. I think an anti-scratch coating is the essential for a new pair of eyeglasses.

• How does the anti-reflective coatings and polarized lenses work?

  Polarized lens won't reduce reflections from light but reduce the amount of light passing through the lens. However, anti-reflective coatings are made to cancel out the light from both front and back of your glasses lens.

• Would it cause any damage to wear glasses without lens?

  Glasses without lenses won't damage your vision. However, the frame will cause pressure on your nose, which may cause headache. And the frame will prevent giving you a wider vision.

• Why my transition lens didn't change in the sun?

  May be you get a fake one. Go to the place where you bought them and ask for a replacement.

• Can I have an anti reflection coating on my transition lens?

  Of course you can. Transition glasses can block the UV rays. If you need, you can take your transition glasses to any optical store to add the anti-reflective coating to your lens.

• How to choose the right solution for contacts?

  When you are purchasing solution for contacts,it is not always better to choose one with stronger Antivirus ability.It is good to kill all the bacteria, but it should not hurt the bacteria groups in your eyes. The ecosystem in your eyes should keep balance. Otherwise the cells may get damaged.

• Will too much sugar contribute to the myopia?

  Some experts say sugar can make the eyesight even worse if you have got myopia. Because sugar will use too much vitamin B1 to metabolize in the body. Vitamin B1 is indispensible to maitain the eyesight. So once there is not enough vitamin B1 in your body, the eyesight will get worse.

• What will happen if I have high eye pressure?

  High eye pressure may cause acute glaucoma. And if you don't go to your doctor to treat it immediately, it will cause blindness in one or two days.
