Your prescription is strong, so I think 1.67 index will make your lens much thinner and give you a better look. However, you should consult your doctor to determine which one will suit you best.

Which one is better in UV protection, Photochromic lenses or Polarized lens?
Both of them can give 100% UV protection. If you drive a lot, I would suggest you to get polarized lens. They can reduce reflective glare which photochromic does NOT. The photochromic lenses will start to fade in 2 years.
