  • There are two reasons why do people wear sunglasses even it is not sunny outdoors.Even if the sunlight is not so strong, there is still noticeable UV radiations which can cause cataracts. Some people wear it just for fashion.

CYL, cylinder is the diopters degree of the astigmatism which is showed as the middle value in your prescription, Right eye CYL: -0.50 Left eye CYL: -2.50 Axis is a number between 0-180 meaning the orientation of your astigmatism which is showed as the last number in your prescription. Axis for right eye:140, Axis for left eye:76.There is no sign before this number. ADD means near additon which is used for making single vision reading glasses, computer glasses, bifocal & progressive eyeglasses.

  • It depends on your corneal thickness, Because the curing of your nearsightedness during the lasik surgery is to remove tissue to reshape your corneas, so that you can see the far part. So if there is enough tissue left to remove safely, you can do the surgery again. But iit is not recommended to do so, you 'd better go to your doctos to have your eyes checked to see if there isn't any pathological changes in your eyes.
