  Yes you can.Take your glasses to nearby optical store and ask them to add the coating for you.But it may cost more to have the coating only.

• What are the advantages and disadvantages of anti glare glasses?

  In my opinion, anti-glare glasses can be used for night driving because they can reduce nighttime distortions so as to provide a clear vision for drivers. However, the anti-glare coating will add the weight to the lenses especially for the high prescription lenses, so people will find uncomfortable to wear them all day.

• Is it ok for children to wear anti-glare glasses?

  Children are able to wear anti-glare glasses if they do need. However, the anti-glare coating may be easy to get damaged because children are too careful and can't take good care of them.

• How long can anti glare coating last on eye glasses?

  If you pay enough care to it and don't make it scratched,it can last as long as many years.You should be especially careful when cleaning it.I have a pair of anti-glare glasses and they are in the third year now.

If you want to wear your glasses all day, then you can choose transition glasses. If you just want to the glasses that can reduce the glare, then you should choose the anti-glare glasses.

• Will the Windex ruin the anti-glare coating?

  The anti-glare coating can get scratched easily if you don't clear it properly.It is not recommended to use Windex,soap or something that are too strong to clean it.

• What kind of cleaners are good to clean glasses with anti-glare coating?

  Aplly several drops of a mild dishwater detergent into the water and mix them up. Then soap your lenses into the water and gently rub your lenses with your finger. Finally, rinse your glasses under warm, running water and dry them with soft cloth. The mild dishwater detergent won't harm your lens.
