  Actually the PD has nothing to do with eye exam and it is not required in the US or Canada either. The doctor would only measure it if you are going to buy glasses from them at the same time. You can aslo measure you PD by yourself at home with a ruler and a mirror.

  Good quality photochromic sunglasses can get completly clear indoors. Maybe the sunglasses you got are not quite good, so there still is slight tint in the lens.

• Can I repair my chipped rimless glasses?

  Instead of getting them repaired, you can almost get a new pair of glasses with the repair cost. Glasses can be hardly repaird if they get broken on the lens. Even you can repair it for temporary, they would get broken soon. So it is better to get a new pair.
