• How do old people determine if they have cataract?

  If old people find vision changing suddenly, for example, they get double vision or blurry vision suddenly, then they may get cataracts and need to see an doctor right away.

• Can rimless glasses be bifocal?

  Yes,you can make it bifocal but the lenses you choose should be higher than 33 mm. But there is a line in the bifocal lens and people can tell you are wearing bifocal glasses easily. If you don't like it, you can choose progressive lenses which are no line.

• Can I polish plastic lens to remove scratches on it?

  You'd better not. That would destroy the coatings on the lenses. You should get a new pair of glasses.

• Can strong lights cause cataract easily?

  Yes. Strong lights and UV rays can increase the risk of getting cataracts.So when you are exposed to the bright sunlight, you must wear sunglasses to protect your eyes being damaged.

• Would anti reflection coating on glasses make me look freaky?

  The anti-reflection coating won't make lenses disappear. It just give you a better appearance and better protection. So don't worry, it won't make you look freaky.

• How to protect my eyes when watching TV?

  The light contrast on TV screen should not be too strong or weak, otherwise your eyes can get tired easily. Also you should not turn off the room light when watching TV.

• Can the anti-reflection coating cover the entire lens including the edges?

  The edges on the lens are often cut into the frames, so the anti-reflection coating won't cover the edges. However, you can try not to get your edges polished.

• What are the differences between amblyopia and myopia?

  Amblyopia often occurs in younger children, which is cause by the disorder or delay of the development of visual function. People with amblyopia cannot see objects clearly for both distance and close. Amblyopia cannot be corrected to the normal vision with corrective glasses.
