His receptionist staff continually told me I had no insurance, due to the fact that they kept confusing my last name. Four times I was told that I had no insurance. I had to call the insurance myself and give the office the insurace helpline number because the insurance told me I was covered.
We paid an $80.00 annual processing fee, which they did not bill the insurance for and I had to pay this out of my pocket. I have never heard of anything like this in any other office that I have been to across the United States.
Five months after my visit, I received a suprise bill in the mail for another $110.00 dollars. In all the cost of my visit was $456. My insurance paid a partial sum but I was still responsible for more than $300.00. I can not believe that a routine checkup and a few contacts wold cost me so much. In... -
