• Can I wear gradient sunglasses for driving?

  Yes, you can use it for driving because the clear part on the bottom won't dim your view of the dashboard. But they are not effective in reducing glare when driving at night.

• Will it damage my eyes if I use only one contact lens?

  I think it would not harm your eyes as you can see fine with your right eye and don't need vision correction. As long as you can feel comfortable with it, it is ok to wear only one contact lens.

• What are the disadvantages of lined Bifocal glasses?

  There are some separated vision areas in lined bifocal glasses. Therefore, some wearers can not get used to radical vision change with those glasses. Or some of them will suffer from very serious dizziness or headaches.

• My eyes are still red and sore after a few weeks after cataract operation?

  As the surgery is successful, I think it should not be surgery complication. It may be caused by conjunctivitis or a dry eye. You can try to use antibiotic eye drops first. Otherwise you need to see the doctor.

• Is there a device on the market that can help to insert and take out contact lenses automatically?

  I guess there is no such device that can help you insert and take out the contact lenses automatically. But it is quite a good idea. If such device exists, it must be very popular. You can buy extended contacts which don't need to get in and take out frequently.

• Will the Color of Tinted Contact Lenses Fade?

  Yes, the color will start to fade over time. But fortunately most colored contacts have to be replaced before they start to fade. So you don't need to worry about this.

• What are the advantages of progressive glasses over lined bifocals ?

  Traditional bifocals and trifocals may bring “image jump” since they have sharply defined boundaries between different parts of the lenses. In contrast, progressive lenses offer a smooth and seamless power transition, so that images at varying distances are also smooth and comfortable.

• Do polycarbonate glasses get scratched easily?

  Yes, it is true. Polycarbonate can get scratched even you are cleaning them. Some people scratch their lenses by cleaning them with paper towel. So you should be much careful with the polycarbonate lens and it is better to add an anti-scratch coating on it.
