Should I wear glasses all the time if I have astigmatism?

I've got astigmatism and farsightedness and have been wearing glasses all the time as what my doctor suggested me. Everytime when I remove my glasses I cannot see clearly even the near things. Maybe not to wear them if you have astigmatism will get you a worse vision.
Are the eye muscles that cause astigmatic?

Eye muscles is not realted to astigmatic, instead of that, the irregular shape of cornea or lens can cause astigmatic. 1. If the cornea does not curve perfectly - if one half is flatter or steeper than the other - the light that hits it will not refract properly and the retina at the back of the eye will receive an imperfect image.
