    1.Michael Gettelfinger Od

    1501 State St Ste 1
    New Albany, IN 47150-4911

Michael Gettelfinger Od is a 5-star Optical Store1 Reviews

Dr. Gettelfinger is a typical hometown doctor. I went through Lion's Eye Clinic to get my glasses and they sent me to him. All I can say is I won't be going to another eye doctor as long as I live in Southern Indiana.

No problem getting an appointment, my glasses were ready within five days, and lo and behold I can see!!

Dr. Gettelfinger is not only cute, he's a very nice man. I felt comfy with him from the beginning, and I know for a fact if I have any problems with these glasses, he will fix it.

Unfortunately I've found getting a good doctor in this area is hard. I won't go into details, but I feel blessed to have been referred to him.

Definitely go to Dr. Gettelfinger, you won't regret it.

    Thanks

  • If you often get blurred vision or double vision and squint a lot either upwards, downwards, outwards, or inwards, then you probably get the lazy eyes. Sometimes your both eyes can't work together, which is also a symptom of a lazy eye.

  • Don't be afraid of that, your eyes are only slightly infected, just leave it to be or put put some eye drops into your eyes, don't rub or itch them anymore. Pink eye is Pink eye (conjunctivitis) is an inflammation or infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines your eyelid and part of your eyeball. Inflammation causes small blood vessels in the conjunctiva to become more prominent, which is what causes the pink or red cast to the whites of your eyes. The cause of pink eye is commonly a bacterial or viral infection, an allergic reaction or - in babies - an incompletely opened tear duct. • An ophthalmologist get specialized training in ophthalmology, so they are able to do surgery and prescribe medicine. They often treat eye diseases. While an optometrist can only prescribe glasses and contacts. That is to say, they often treat vision problem.

  • No, the dim light and long time using computer can make your eyes strain or fatigue, but is irrelevant to pupil constrict. Work under light and decrease the time of using computer would be good for your vision.

  • In the eyes exam, doctors are may ask you to follow his finger in the process of Slow tracking, or ""pursuits"" in which the examiner's finger traces an imaginary "double-H", which touches upon the eight fields of gaze. These test the muscles of the eye, as well as the oblique muscles.

  • You'd better not.If your contacts fall into the water,I guess there is no way to find them out.

  • Maybe it is because your contact lenses are dirty and you don't wash them clean. Or some foreign substance get into your eyes and then your eyes get infected.

  • It will make your eyes feel fatigue and strain. But long time staying in such circumstance can be harmful to your vision. Why not light up your lamp while watch TV? I think it will help.
