Should I get anti-glare glasses?

You can also keep your eyes away from your computer screen regualrly and let your eyes relax, then it will reduce your eye strain. If you want to get anti-glare glasses, you can talk to your doctor and take your doctor's advice.

Can the Anti glare coating be added to the lens?

Of course you can. You can take your glasses back to your optician where you bought your glasses. Their lab will add the anti-glare coating on your lenses. But it may be costly. You can contact your optician to determine whether they are willing to do it for you.

If you want to wear your glasses all day, then you can choose transition glasses. If you just want to the glasses that can reduce the glare, then you should choose the anti-glare glasses.

Since you feel dizzy at closer objects with your original prescription, you should take your doctor's advice to wear a slightly weaker glasses which you can get used to quickly. Once my doctor suggested me wear weaker glasses that I can see more clearly than my original prescription. And I feel comfortable when I wear them all day now. So I think it is better to wear a slightly weaker glasses.

Children are able to wear anti-glare glasses if they do need. However, the anti-glare coating may be easy to get damaged because children are too careful and can't take good care of them.
