  It is not recommended to use contact lenses that are out of date. Because the cotact lenses are much easier to be infected during long time of use and there is possiblity that the bacterial stay on the surface of the lenses so as to cause eye diseases.

  Maybe it is because you can't put them into the correct position. If they are in the right position, it is probably caused by the bigger of basic curve. If the number of basic curve is bigger, then the lens is flatter and in this case the lens will slip so that you can feel the lenses moving in your eyes.

  No. contact lenses would not be thicker if you have stronger prescription, instead Focal length of contact lenses decreases.

  The glasses that Steve Jobs wore were the German Lunor Classic Rund PP which is a pair of round-lensed glasses. I am not sure where to get the exact same glasses as that Steve Jods worn, but you can buy similar ones, like round glasses at any optical stores.

If your prescription power for glasses is greater than +/-4.00, you should see a difference in the power of your contact lens prescription. For every power change of 2 in a glasses prescription, the difference of +0.25 power is needed to compensate for the location of the contact lens.
