• In early use reading glasses, is this strange?

  First you should make sure that you get the right prescription . Check it with your doctor . If there is no problem in your prescription , you may need more time to get used to it . It is common for people to have headache or dizziness in the early use of reading glasses . Allow yourself one week or more to see if it works well .

• Reading glasses lower part, upper part neutral?

  Surely you can have your glasses like that . It is called the bifocal reading glasses . They are perfect for those who need reading glasses, but also require the regular correction glasses. With Bifocal reading glasses ,you no longer have to swap between regular glasses and reading glasses to read or see fine details

• reading glasses impairs the vision of those who do not need to wear glasses?

  Totally agree with Benson. Simply use computer glasses which will help alleviate fatigue, protect your vision and prevent computer radiation at the same time. As you have good vision, so I suggest you purchase a pair of non prescription computer glasses.

• Is it bad to put reading glasses when not needed?

  There are a lot of factors that determine potential harm from wearing reading glasses you don't need or do not match your eyes. Some individuals that wear non-prescribe Creaders often do so using the wrong power. If too much power is used, and used often, it can decrease the person's natural power to focus. At the Dr Lee Eye Center we have many individuals (typically the 44 y/o male) who has worn Cdime-store readers that were too strong and now their eyes focus like a 60 y/o.

• At what age did you start needing reading glasses?

  I am 23 and don't need reading glasses . But my father started using reading glasses few years ago (about 45). He could not see the small texts on newspaper . It is also impossible for him to thread a needle. And often get frequent headaches, eyestrain or eye fatigue while reading. I don't have shopping experience from 99 cent store and unable to know the quality of their glasses . Generally glasses can still work without any big problems unless your prescription change .

• Do your eyes get worse if you wear your reading glasses all the time?

  The factors that can affect vision are genes, long term exposure to intense light, PH balance, cholesterol levels, and vascular health, etc. All of these factors can not be changed through the eye exercises. The eye exercises are used to strengthen the muscles around the eyes which has little to do with eyesight.Therefore doing eye exercises has nothing to do with natural perfect eyesight.

• Do reading glasses help when watching tv too or is that too far away?

  No. Reading glasses cannot help when watching TV because reading glasses are used for close up work, like reading or sewing. While you sit too far when you watch TV. If you find things blurry while watching TV, then glasses for distance is needed because you may suffer myopia. In this case, you'd better go to see an eye doctor and have an eye exam. Then the doctor will prescrible a pair of glasses that fit you properly.

• What color lens should I get for my ski goggles?

  bright yellow or clear, i prefer bright yellow because i guess u could say it is similar to light
