This doctor toots her own horn. She has a huge ego and wants to be praised and honored. Too bad her doctoral skills ar not up tom par. She makes money off her patients by refusing to give out written prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses (against NJ state law) so that you have to buy them from her, over-priced of course. She trains her staff to push patients into buying the more exprensive frames. She is rude and inconsiderate. I had a problem with a contact lens she prescribed and gave me, made an appointment, and she refused to see me (I actually heard her tell her assistant this!!!) and asked her to tell me to come back another day. I never did!

Her staff is not prize either. For years (and I'm talking monthly and sometimes weekly since the "great doctor" didn't know how to prescribe contact lens despite claiming to be an instructoer and specialist), I'd get there early for my appointment and then wait 2-3 hours for the grace of this doctor to see...

  • The best time to treat lazy eyes is under 16,the earlier, the better. The chance of success will be smaller as you are already 20. But there is still hope. You can go to the specialist and have a ask. Good Luck!

  • Why not wear sunglasses? They can also protect your eyes and are more pretty than goggles.

  • Yes, you can. But you should use preservative free tears to treat your dry eye after lasik surgery because preservatives may cause damage to the cornea of your eyes.

  • Most contacts have lower oxygen permeability and can cause your eye lack of oxygen easily. When you face the computer screen for a long time, your eyes are always strained and can become dry easily.

  • It usually costs $50- $100. Some cost more than $100. So different places have different prices. You should check with your optomotrist.

  • It depends on how comfortable you are using your progressive glasses for computer work. When you wear progressive glasses, you may constantly move your head to find the right zone for the computer and these movements can give you a pain in the neck. If they don't hurt your neck, you don't need computer glasses. If they do, you need separate glasses for reading and computer work.

  • Plastic frames often have no nose pads and metal frames have nose pads. If you choose plastic frame, you need to make sure they fit your nose properly so that they can't slip down from your nose very often. Metal frames with nose pads are adjustable to fit your nose properly, but when you take off them, there will be marks on your nose. So it just depends on which one will fit your nose perfectly.

  • If you are meaning the same brand and material in lens, yes. Their price of rimless glasses is higher than other glasses frames because of the detail that goes into this style. In fact, the rimless style needs more work and time. So making this kind of style is more time-consuming.
