Only prescribe Ciba product to me though it doesn't fit and are uncomfortable & he know that, knows that a different make, brand size works for my eyes but on a revisit again prescribed me a Ciba lens that he knew I could not wear, then offered to send me the correct prescription (one that fits) via mail, which when I got it was the first Ciba Rx that he already knew I can't wear. Waste of my time and money and he expects me to go back and pay him again - you got to be kidding. All I got is bills and 2 worthless Rx's from him that he knew were worthless to me. As a eye Dr he does seem OK, but just not willing to do the right thing. I can't trust him after this, I question his motives in constantly prescribing a lens of one brand that I can't wear....

  • A larger monitor will make it easier for users to see clearer and easier to read the text on the screen thus to make eyes less strain. That is to say, a bigger computer moniter is better for eyes.

  • No, you cannot wear torn contacts, even for one day. The contacte may not only make you miserable, but also make the tear film of your eyes scratched. I suggesy you wear your eyeglasses instead.

  • Many opticians state that the lack of Vitamin A which is mainly contained in carrots can lead to night blindness. So carrots are often credited with improving night vision.

  • Wearing contact lenses long which will cause your eyes dry and such blurry vision. Some drops may help you ease this problem. BTW, you'd better decrease the wearing time of your contact lenses.

  • Strenuous activities may not be the cause of your blurry vision. It may be caused by some other eye diseases or improper use of eyes. You may go to your eye doctor and have your eyes carefully checked.

  • Practice makes perfect. I have no problem putting in my contacts. This is the key step that I put it in. Use the index finger of your opposite hand to pull your upper eyelid upward; use the middle finger of your dominant hand (i.e. the one with the contact on it) to pull your lower eyelid downward. As you become more experienced, you’ll be able to do this just by pulling down your lower eyelid.

  • Eye doctors use the letters ""H"" and ""F"" with contact lenses to identify specific aspects of the prescription. F is an abbreviation for the power of the back of the lens, and H represents a calculation for distance. The information is needed in some cases for custom-made contact lenses. • It is not recommended to get sunscreen in your eyes. Most cosmetics will be a kind of irritant to eyes and inside of the eyes. If your eye is little red and your vision is good, a careful washing may do much help.
