2. it is very unfortunate, but the service here has gone down over the years.
3. When buying a year's worth of contacts and paying cash for an eye exam + contact exam, I was charged $8 for a bottle of solution I could have gotten for $4 in the pharmacy... You would think that off the profit they made on the contacts, (finding later I could have paid about 1/4th less elsewhere) they would have at least charged me retail value for the solution, or, perhaps, THROW IT IN FOR FREE, given I was a customer for eight years and, in my opinion, should not have to pay for the contact "fitting" since my prescription has not changed in four years and I KNOW HOW to put contacts in, have not changed brands- they fit and work exactly the same as they did every other year.
4. Just typical port washington "mom and pop" shop- more expensive than anywhere else with worse service and less selection.... -
