I brought my daughters in for their first pair of glasses and I immediatley fell in love with Eye-Deal's frame selection. The colors, shapes and sizes available was quite impressive. Bruce, the owner/optician and the sales staff were friendly and knowledgable about their products. The prices were very fair. Bruce prides himself on being with Eye-Deal since 1981. He grows how business without playing price games so often played on other optical stores.
I will definitely tell my friends how wonderful Eye-Deal Optical is.

  • Some optical stores are unwilling to add the anti-scratch coating to your lenses if it has already been cut. While there are still opticians that are willing to do it for you. But it may be costly. If you do want to add the anti-scratch coating to your glasses lens, you can shop around to see which store can help you.

  • Make sure your prescription is still valid. Every optician will keep the customer's information on file. So you can retrieve your prescription from your optometrist as long as you go back there and show him the reciept in order to let him know that you've done an eye exam before there. Then he will write down the prescription to you.

  • You can. They just need to measure the base curvature of your eye apart from the regular procedures for glasses.

  • Yes. You can take your glasses back to the place where you bought your glasses and ask them to add anti-scratch coating to your lenses. They will send your glasses to their lab and the technician will do it for you. It may take you some time to get your glasses back.

  • If the prescription is not expired, you can ask for a copy of it.There is no reason to charge you again.

  • If the left lens is much thicker than the right,I think there may be something wrong in "refractive index" or "material" for the lens. You can go back to the store and have a check.

  • You can use the eye drop which contain vascular constrictor to make your eye whites brighter. The vascular constrictor will make the white part of your eye white by constricting all of the blood vessels in your eyes. You can get these eye drops from most pharmacies. But I think you should talk to your optometrist first because it may cause very little side effect with prolonged use.

  • You can hold the glasses where they will reflect light. If the lights reflecting are the color of the lights, you do not have Anti-Reflective coating. If they reflect in a color like green, gold, purple or blue, you have the coating.
