  It is fine to take shower after your LASIK procedure, but you still need to be careful to avoid water coming into your eye. It is better to close your eyes during the shower.

• Is contacts prescription higher than glasses?

  No, the contacts prescription are usually lower than glasses cuz they are worn directly on the eyes. When you are getting contacts, you are required to have an eye exam and take the prescription for contacts.

• What does 0.75 reading glasses mean?

  The number 0.75 indicates how serious your presbyopia is, it is the same as myopia. Different people have different degree of presbyopia and they need reading glasses in different power. If you have slight presbyopia, then 0.75 reading glasses may be good for you.

• How to wash hair after lasik surgery?

  You can turn your back to the shower and wash your hair so that the shampoo can run down your back, rather than across your face. Or you can go to a barbershop and they will wash your hair without leaving shampoo water in your eyes.

• Can plastic lens glasses be refurbished?

  If your glasses are prescription, you can't refurbished the lens. Because when they get refurbished, the prescription of glasses may change and no longer fit your eyes.

  It sounds like you are having night blindness and can be caused by deficiency of Vitamin A. Try to take in food high in Vitamin A such as carrots. But if you are born with night blindness, there is little chance that it can be cured.

  Some tinted contact lenses can reduce glare or light sensitivity by reducing the amount of light entering the eye. Some contact lenses can be provided with an ultraviolet (UV) filter. However, these lenses are not a replacement for ultraviolet (UV) filtering sunglasses. Also remember that contact lenses with UV filters may only protect the cornea and retina. They do not protect the conjunctiva, the eyelids and other outer portions of the eye.
