• Can you tint eyeglasses with a scratch resistant coating?

  Of course you can.However you may get more scratches when you tint your glasses.I think you can buy a new pair of glasses and let them add the tint and scratch-resistant coating to your glasses step by step.

• How to make my tinted eyeglass less tinted?

  If the lens is made of glass, then you can't remove the tints away.If it is plastic, you can heat the lens so that it ia warm enough to remove the tints and make the glasses less tinted.

• Can eyeglasses be tinted after being purchased & where to get?

  It depends on whether the lens has been put on some coatings.Some coatings like anti-reflective coating don't allow to tint the lens once the coating has been already put on the lens.Otherwise the lens will be damaged. However some other coatings or clear glasses allow the lens to be tinted but it is too hard to treat them like this and it is usually cost much more.You can go to the place where you have bought your glasses and they will know how to do this for you.

• How do you clean transition glasses?

  Damp your lenses in water.Then use an optical lens cloth to rub them gently.Next use mild dish soap to wash the lenses clean.Finally rinse them and dry them off.

• Are polarized lenses with tints on them?

  Polarized lenses are different from the tinted lenses. However, the polarized lenses may look like there is a tint on the lenses.In fact, polarized lensed use a filter to block glare while tinted lenses cannot offer this.They are different.

• Any opinions on transition glasses and so they work well as claimed?

  Transition lens will turn dark once the UV rays hit them. However they won't get completely gark when you are in a car because the windshields have block most of UV rays and only a little get into your car. If you want to get a really dark sunglasses, I wouldn't recommend transitions glasses. If you don't use them for driving, it's a good option to get.

• Can I wear contacts after a lasik surgery?

  After lasik surgery, you should wait for 6 months so that your eyes have enough time to heal. Once your eyes are healed, you can visit your optometrist and let him check your eyes to see whether your eyes can wear contacts or not. Then take your doctor's advice.

• Can water and vinegar solution clean tinted prescription eyeglasses?

  Whether they will clean your tinted prescription glasses or not, you should take good care of your glasses, eapecially those that cost you so much.
