• Can I get an eye infection by sharing eye drops?

  Only when your eye touch the eye drop thingy dropper, your eyes have the chance to get infected if you share other people's eye drops. If someone has done like that, you shouldn't use it any more and must thow it away immediately. If don't, then your eye won't get infected. However, you'd better not share eye drops with other people.

• What is the vision like to be considered legally blind?

  If the best eye with corrective glasses or contact lenses has a visual acuity of 20/200 or even worse, then it is considered as legally blindness.

• Why does my anti-glare glasses stop to work?

  Yes.Your anti-glare coating may be marred by the spray. You should take your glasses back and tell them that you were only following instructions given by them and now there is something wrong with the anti-glare coating. I believe they will replace them for you.

• Is it common for your eyes to feel pricking after using eye drops for allergies?

  Before you use eye drops for your allergies, you must check the expiration date. The eye drops which are out of date would make your eyes feel really pricking. And then you should throw them away. It is normal for your eyes to feel pricking when you put eye drops in the first few seconds, but it should go away very quickly. If it lasts for a long time, you should go to see an doctor.

• Do polarized sunglasses work better than those with anti-glare coating?

  The purpose of an AR coating is to provide relief from glare off the back of the lens while polarized sunglasses are used to reduce or eliminate glare from passing through the lens. So work in different ways and we cannot tell which one is better.

• Could I play computer after lasik surgery?

  For now, you can use your eyes the same day when you have your LASIK. However, you must pay much attention to your eye health and control the time that you play computer for.

• What eye drops can pregnant woman use for pinkeye?

  Wash them with saline first. If it is serious, using some chloramphenicol eye drops will work. As you just got pregnant, i suggest you wash your eyes with saline for it can reduce the bacteria in your conjunctiva, which is helpful for providing immunity.

• Why does the eye drops always come to my throat after using them?

  Because there is a tube called the nasolacrimal duct connecting your tear duct to your nasal passage. Hence your eyes, nose, and mouth are all connected. If you put too much eye drops into your eyes, then excess eye drops will went down to your throat.
