• Are the eye muscles that cause astigmatic?

  Eye muscles is not realted to astigmatic, instead of that, the irregular shape of cornea or lens can cause astigmatic. 1. If the cornea does not curve perfectly - if one half is flatter or steeper than the other - the light that hits it will not refract properly and the retina at the back of the eye will receive an imperfect image. The person will have blurred vision from that eye - astigmatism.2. The lens has variations in its curvature, rather than having a perfect curve, causing images to reach the back of the eye (retina) imperfectly. • Is the chance less for nearsighted people to become presbyopia when they're old?

  It is not the lasik cause the older people suffer Presbyopia, it is because their lens of the eye change in shape more for near objects than for far objects so as the lens hardens, so it's more difficult to focus on objects that are near. In a sense, nearsighted people are less likely to suffer farsightedness than others.

• Can nearsightedness happen in a sudden?

  It is quite abnormal. As I know, nearsightedness may not happen in a sudden, but once happened it will last forever unless you do the lasik surgery. See an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. Maybe there is something wrong with your retina. Confirm this with your doctor.

• How bad is your vision if you are suffering myopia?

  Whenven you find youself cannot see far as clear as before, you should have your eyes examined to see if you are suffering myopia. If so, let them to do a careful examination, then them will give you their suggestions (whether or not you need a pair of eyeglasses to correct your vision) and your prescription paper which indicate the power of your eyes.

• Why people have different prescriptions in both eyes?

  It is fairly common for people to have different prescription in each eyes. Just like,some people have one foot slghtly larger than the other. One eye slightly bigger than the other. Make sure to wear glasses which are prescribed especially for your eyes. Particularly when wearing contact lenses, don't wrongly wear your left contact lens on your right eye, or wear your right contact lens on your left eye, or will damage your vision.

  There are several factors you should take into account when choosing a good lasik surgeon, Licensing, Board certification, American College of Surgeons membership,Advertisements, and Referrals.

• Do you feel pressured in your head when not wearing glasses?

  It is possible if you have vision problems, such as nearsighted or farsighted, Headaches may accour without wearing eyeglasses and this pain will be aggravated if your eyes feel strain, for example, reading or watch TV too much.
