• Can I add a nose pad to my eyeglasses?

  Unfortunately you can't. I guess your glasses must be plastic frames without nose pad. There is no way to add nose pad as they are made together with the frame. You need to change for mental frame with a nose pad.

• Why does the nose pad in my eyeglasses turn green?

  If your frame is mental, it can be caused by oxidation. Most mental frames contain bronze, the air and sweats make it oxidize and finally turn green. You should keep your glasses dry especially when you sweat a lot.

• Is there any over the counter eye drops for allergy?

  Yes. There are some over the counter eye drops designed for eye allergy. You can go to the nearby pharmacy and find them. The staff there may give you some suggestion.

• How Diabetes influence our eyes?

  Diabetes can affect your eye in a number of ways: The most serious eye condition associated with diabetes involves the network of blood vessels supplying the retina.   Aspherical lens glasses are not suitable for all people. People who have worn glass glasses for a long time may find difficult to get used to aspherical lens. People with squinting eyes can't wear Aspherical lens glasses.

  The daily disposable contacts are more convenient and reduce the chance of getting infected in your eyes. You don't have to clean them regularly and there would not be deposit on them caused by long time wearing.

• Can I fix broke nose pad in an eyeglass frame?

  Yes, you can fix it by yourself with a repair kit which usually contains mini screwdrivers, screws, nose pads, small magnifying glass and a wipe cloth. You can buy it in an optical store. I have repaired many of my own glasses in this way.
