  When you go to the store, just look for name brands and try them on.If they do make you look mature and suit you fine, you can remember what kind of styles they have.Then you can go to other places to look for some similar styles with lower price.

  If you are qualified to wear contacts, the eye doctor will give you a test to get your prescription of your contact lenses.Then they will make your contact lenses according to your prescription.

• How do you get glasses from other places rather than from your eye doctor?

  I know some eye doctors may give your prescription only if you have paid the fee for the eye exam.If so,you can take your prescription to any cheaper places to get your glasses.

  You can go to ask your doctor whether you can have an eye exam without your parents.If you can't, you can ask the doctor to talk with your parents and persuade your parents to allow you to have an eye exam.

  Actually, when an optical store sells well, there are very few old frames around. If the old frames don't sell well, then they will be sold to another store where they may sell better.
