I was upset with the service provided for my sons and the attitude of the staff and the doctor.

On December 21st we purchased 2 sets of glasses, 1 each for both of my sons. The first set was delivered on time. Not so much with the second set.

It was finally ready to be picked up on January 19th, almost 1 month after being purchased. Upon picking up the glasses I was informed that the amount of money due was $40.00 greater than expected because of a mistake that his office staff made with the account. They admitted to this error, however no accoomidation was made for the 30 day delay on the glasses. I paid the full amount and asked for the doctor to call me.

He called me about 20 minutes later stating it was a problem with his staff in regards to the payment and the delay was due to a problem with the lab. I have a hard time seeing this leading to a 30 day delay! He could here in my...

  • Glasses optical clarity is the best and as such glass lenses will have little to no distortion.Adding to that, it is the most scratch resistant optical material. However, glass will almost certainly shatter on impact. Plastic lenses are mainly made from polycarbonate and CR-39 plastic material. Polycarbonate is popular for lenses because of its high resistance to impact. polycarbonate lenses also have the highest distortion compared to any other material. CR-9 is another type of optical plastic. It has little distortion compared to polycarbonate. It is thinner and lighter than glass too.plastic being a lighter material makes plastic lenses much lighter than glass and therefore they are less likely to cause indentations. • It is impossible for reading glasses without prescription. Reading glasses are some what magnifying glasses specialyy made for who spend a great deal of time and have problem concentrating on material close-up. Most reading glasses are made to a particular prescription, according to degree of myopia or hyperopia combined with astigmatism.

  • Sunglass frames are made from metal, plastic or beryllium. Metal frames, particularly expensive ones, are often made of mixtures of nickel and other metals such as silver. Plastic frames contain various materials, such as zyl, cellulose acetate propionate, nylon and castor oil. Beryllium, a steel-gray metal, is a lower-cost alternative to titanium eyewear.

  • It is decided by your own preference. For bifocal glasses, you need time to get used to them, because they have two centers with the upper part to see the far distance, with the lower part to see the near distance. For two seperate general wear, you have to change between those two pairs, it is not so convenient.

  • You can wear sunglasses at night even it is hard to look clear at night. These following are 5 reasons for you to wear sunglasses at night. 1)Most people wear them to look cool and nonchalant; 2) Some of them wear to hide the emotions in your eyes; 3) to intimidate and to play a trick on someone 4) for health reasons; 5) to hide from paparazzi, especially for stars and celebrities.

  • Computer glasses are special glasses prescribed to lessen the symptoms associated with computer vision syndrome (CVS). CVS describes a group of symptoms caused by prolonged computer use. Symptoms appear because the eyes and brain react differently to words on a computer screen than they do to printed text. Symptoms often include eyestrain, dry eyes, headaches and blurred vision. Many people try to compensate for these vision problems by leaning forward or by looking down to see through the bottom portion of their glasses, often resulting in back and shoulder pain. • You'd better not, under this situationm the prescription will be added to a strong power which is relatively higher than that of your original power, thus to lead you to more serious vision problem. But it is OK to wear prescription sunglasses over non-prescription contacts or to wear non-prescription sunglasses over prescription contacts to add UV protection, fashion element and convenience.

  • 1. Clean your eyeglasses regularly with a soft handsoap and water. 2. Draw over the scratch with a special marker such as Sandford's White Peel-Off China Marker. 3.Apply a CD- or DVD-cleaning solution and follow the directions on the packaging. 4.Buff the scratch away with a progression of cloths. 5.Bring your glasses to a professional to see if repair work can be done on the lenses.
