• What can I do if I get something in my eye when wearing contact lenses?

  Never rub your eyes when you get something in them. Close your eyes and blink several times, they should be shifted out of your eyes. If you still feel they are there, take out the contacts and wash your eyes with clean water.

• Is it possible to remove tint from sunglasses?

  It should depend on the lenses you have and how the tint is added to the sunglasses. In some cases it is possible to bleach the tint out if the lenses are plastic and are not coated with and anti-reflection coating. You can take them to your local optician and ask if they can do this for you.

• Can I get lasik refractive surgery correction after cataract surgery?

  You can do it but there may be a higher risk to get lasik surgery. If you insist to have the surgery, you should choose an experience surgeon and know all the risk of it. In my opinion, I would not suggest you to get lasik surgery. Glasses are not that bad.

• What is the small bump on my eyelid?

  It sounds like a stye, but i am not sure. It should disappear in several days but you should not extrude it otherwise it can get worse. It is better to see your doctor and get some prescription eye drops.

• Can I get free eye exam if my grandma has glaucoma?

  NO. You are only entitled to get free eye exam if your are over 40 and your close relatives such as sisters,parents have glaucoma according to NHS.

• Where to purchase eye drops for using while wearing contacts?

  You can go to your nearby pharmacy and ask. Some eye drops are designed to use with contacts. But it is better to ask for your doctor's advice before using them.

• Do I need an eye exam for the serious migrane?

  Migraine can be caused by many different factors, it is better for you to have a thorough exam including eye test to find the real cause.Some people do find that their migraine is worse or more frequent if their glasses are out of date.

• Can an anti-refection coating be added to the lens after the glasses have been cut?

  Anti-reflection coating are usually added to the uncut lenses, and then they are made according to the frame shape. So there is no way to add it to the already cut lens, you need to order new lenses with anti-refection coating.
