- Do you have any of the following problems?
-
Can I switch from bifocal glasses to mono vision contacts?
If you feel good wearing mono vision contacts,I can't see the reason why you can't.
-
Can I get bifocal prescription contacts?
Yes,bifocal contacts can be got in most optical stores and online stores. But before you wear them, you need to have an eye exam to determine whether you are a good candidate for contacts. It is responsible for your eye health.
-
Can bifocal glasses help slow down nearsightedness?
No,they can't help you slow down the myopia, they can only help you correct your vision when reading or working on a computer, but they can't do the job(reading and working on a computer)at the same time. You'd better get progressive glasses which can enable you to see far, middle and near.
-
Can I use the bifocal prescription for single vision glasses?
Surely you can.The prescription for bifocal or single vision glasses are same. But if you want to get contacts, you need a different one.
-
Why I get a headache when wearing bifocal glasses?
Make sure the prescription is correct.Maybe you are not get used to them.Try to increase the time of wearing them gradually and you may get used to them soon.
-
What kind of people need bifocal glasses?
People who have strong prescription don't necessarily need bifocals, they just need the single vision glasses.Bifocal glasses are used for people who need two different strengths of lenses, especially for those who have presbyopia and myopia at the same time.
-
What's the difference between varifocal and bifocal glasses?
Bifocal lenses have two different areas that is used to correct both nearsightedness and presbyopia. And a line is visible in the bifocal lens. While varifocal lenses do not have a line where the two prescriptions meet and can correct the vision for mid-range or arm's-length , so you can use varifocal glasses to see computer.
-
Can a 25- year-old person get bifocal glasses from doctor?
Of course you can.It has nothing to do with the age.But make sure you really need the bifocals first.
