• Why is it that sunglasses look cool but reading glasses not so much?

  Most sunglasses are for fashion use while most reading glasses are for vision correction.

• Can wearing glasses cause pink eyes?

  Generally speaking, wearing glasses cannot cause pink eye. Maybe your eyes have touched something else which carry germs and then the germs get into your eyes to cause your pink eye.

• How much is an Eye Exam for colored contacts?

  It's the same with that for regular contacts because the eye doctor won't know your prescription before they take the eye exam for you. That means no matter you have prescription or not, the work of eye doctor will be the same.

• If the sunlight shines on the pair of sunglasses, and reading glasses, which pair would be warmer ?

  The sunglasses maybe warmer cuz the lenses on sunglasses would absorb the light and heat, so that the sunglasses would be warmer than reading glasses. The lenses on reading glasses can let the light go through rather than stay on them.

• Questions about prescription for distance, computer and reading? Help!

  It is not necessary for your wife to have a new eye exam and a new prescription seperate for single vision, because the numbers needed for single vision lenses are included in the prescription for progressives. You just need to show the doctor the RX paper of your wife and tell exactly what you want to seperately, for distance, computer and reading. In fact, a pair of progressives can do all the functions, including glasses for distance, computer and reading, and it is much more convenient to wear.

• Do your eyes get worse if you wear your reading glasses all the time?

  The factors that can affect vision are genes, long term exposure to intense light, PH balance, cholesterol levels, and vascular health, etc. All of these factors can not be changed through the eye exercises. The eye exercises are used to strengthen the muscles around the eyes which has little to do with eyesight.Therefore doing eye exercises has nothing to do with natural perfect eyesight.

What's more, some kinds of food are good for our eye vision.Carrots, milk, cheese, egg yolk and liver which are rich in vitamin A, can avoid getting dry eye. Eating a moderate amount of fish can lower the chance of getting AMD. So adding these kinds of food into your diet can improve your vision to some degree.

  Myopia is caused by many factors. Some people get myopia due to the heredity.While some people get myopia may due to the usage of their eyes incorrectly. If you get myopia, you'd better wear glasses or contacts which will help you see clearly and prevent your sight getting worse.
