Introduction

Harrison Ford is one of the highest grossing American actors of all time, with once four of the top 6 highest grossing movies of all time having one of his roles. His roles in the Star Wars franchise and Indiana Jones are world-wise known and his collaboration with director Ridley Scot has created a cult following miracle, namely Blade Runner. Although the Ford on screen rarely sports sunglasses, the man is a sunglasses freak in real life. Like most celebrities, Harrison Ford has been a constant endorsement for the Ray-Ban classic: aviator and personally speaking “ I don't find no one better representing the spirits that were supposed to come out of a pair of aviator.” The physically robust figure of Harrison and his virile and manly temperament fit the designing objectives of aviator so fine that it almost seems that those tear-drop shaped shades were made just for them. Do you want to have the masculine appeal as Harrison Ford? Have you been secretly craving that dominating look that Professor Jones shows in all those movies? Well, working out all day on those six pack abs might help but certainly won't suffice. You also need the Harrison Ford sunglasses that you can find on firmoo.com-the world's leading online optical vendor. Ford was born July 13, 1942, at Chicago, Illinois' Swedish Covenant Hospital. His mother, Dorothy (née Dora Nidelman), was a homemaker and former radio actress, and his father, Christopher Ford (born John William Ford), was an advertising executive and a former actor. A younger brother, Terence, was born in 1945. Ford's paternal grandparents, John Fitzgerald Ford and Florence Veronica Niehaus, were of Irish Catholic and German descent, respectively. Ford's maternal grandparents, Harry Nidelman and Anna Lifschutz, were Jewish immigrants from Minsk, Belarus (at that time a part of the Russian Empire). When asked in which religion he and his brother were raised, Ford has jokingly responded, "Democrat," "to be liberals of every stripe". He has also said that he feels "Irish as a person, but I feel Jewish as an actor."
