  • I never heard that the insurance has something to do with the eye doctor. You should go to ask your optician.

  • It should depend on what they are used for. If you wear them all day for reading or some close work, it won't make much difference in your vision. But if you wear them for distant vison most of the time, eyesight will be messed up and feel blurry. It is the same as glasses for myopia or hyperopia, only put on them when you need.

  • If you need to wear them for near-distance work all day, then it's ok. However, if you need to see far most of the time wearing reading glasses will make your vision blurry cuz the reading prescription is just designed for reading or computer use. Given your situation, i suggest you get your reading glasses online cuz for glasses with same quality, accuracy and fitness, the price online is 50%~90% lower than that in the drug store or in the brick-and-mortar stores. Maybe you can check out http://www.firmoo.com/reading-glasses.html where the reading glasses are priced as low as $8. Hope these will be helpful for you.

  • In fact, you only need to get one that suits you fine and it is comfortable to wear.Make sure your glasses won’t get in the way of what you are doing.I think all the expensive and also cheap safety glasses will get destroyed while firing though many people use Oakley as safety glasses.

  • Eye exercises won’t help improve your vision,it is just used for relieving your eye strain. So wear your glasses in case your eyesight gets worse and worse.

  • Yeah.Reading glasses are different from computer glasses. Reading glasses have the focus on the distance you would normally hold a book while computer glasses have the focus on the distance from your eyes to the computer screen. Computer glasses can not only reduce glare and the intensity of the light produced by the computer monitor but also block UV rays produced by monitors and fluorescent lighting.

  • Sure ,the computer glasses do help . More and more office workers are being tortured by computer radiation at all times that their eyesight is getting worse and worse, alongside with eye dry, itch and fatigue.A pair of computer glasses which is especially designed to reduce the harm of computer radiation to the eye.

  • it should depend on which vision insurance you have . Vision insurance policies typically cover routine eye exams and other procedures, and provide specified dollar amounts or discounts for the purchase of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Some vision insurance policies also offer discounts on refractive surgery, such as LASIK and PRK. If you are not sure ,why not call the insurance center and get a definite answer ?

  • do you mean you want to wear two pairs of contacts at the same time ? That's really weird .I wonder whether you have the ability to put two pair of contacts in your eyes . Even though you can ,you will not feel comfortable . If you want to make your eyes bright , why don't you try the prescription colored contacts ?just leave the white ones aside . it is definitely unsafe to wear them at the same time .

  • general vision insurance may provide specified dollar amounts or discounts for the purchase of eyeglasses and contact lenses . It will not appoint which brand frames you can buy and which you not .if the cost of the frame you choose exceed that certain amount ,you will pay yourself . I don't know much about the NC Health Choice , you can call them and ask .
