  • it should depend on which vision insurance you have . Vision insurance policies typically cover routine eye exams and other procedures, and provide specified dollar amounts or discounts for the purchase of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Some vision insurance policies also offer discounts on refractive surgery, such as LASIK and PRK. If you are not sure ,why not call the insurance center and get a definite answer ?

  • It depends .they can vary a lot according to the brands ,style , material and other factors . You can call them using the number on the top of their site and ask for a definite answer . Tell them what kind of glasses you need .

  • If you have a copy of your prescription which is not out of date or you know the number of your eyes , you can get them online . there should be a form for you to fill in the number so that they can make the lenses you need . I know eye exams do cost an arm and a leg .It is better to have vision insurance which can save you a lot .

  • To keep their eyes healthy, drivers should often wash their eyes with hot water in order to promote the blood circulation of their eyes. They also should move their eyeballs properly to improve eyesight. When they drive under the strong light, they should wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from being damaged.

  • I used to have eye strain when I looked at the blackboard in the front of the classroom, and I can't see the words clearly. At that time our school requaired us to do eye exercises for five minutes every day. Then I keep on doing these exercises for the whole school days. Later I found that my vision is getting better and better gradually. But now I haven't done those exercises for a long time, and my vision has been becoming worse. Personally speaking, the eye exercises should be kept on doing daily and they will help your eyes from eye strain more or less.

  • I think the eye doctor cannot tell whether you take care of your contacts or not. But in order to avoid infection, you should wash your hands befor handling them. And you shouldn't sleep with the contacts in your eyes. If your eye get infected, it can cause serious problems.

  • The basic care for colored contacts include cleaning ,rinsing ,disinfecting and storage .Make sure that your hands are clean and dry before handling the lenses. Drop some solution on them and use your index finger rub it gently for about 15 times . Then wash them with several drops of solution . Use fresh no-rub multipurpose solution to disinfect your lenses with. They can be completely disinfected after dunking in the solution for over 4 hours . Store your colored contacts in a lens case with screw-on lids. Remember not to swap colored contacts with anyone, even if the lenses do not have a prescription grade.

  • It has nothing to do with using reading glasses. what happens is that in Brazil or in places with tropical climate, there is much light, it justifies the increase of people with problems in the sights, but it is not only this reason, the factor has biological and genetic too. Not all people who have problems with views, but almost half the population has some degree. People who read poorly, as in dark, high brightness ..... probably you may also have a problem in view, not necessarily with much reading or study.
