Should I leave the contact case open or closed when it's not in use?
You'd better dump out all of the remaining solution after removing your contacts and leaving the case open but face down to dry. This will limit your risks of potentially blinding diseases. After wearing the contacts, you should colse the case of your contact lenses to prevent dust. Also be sure to replace the solution in your contacts cases per week, when they are not in frequent use. At what age is it typical to need reading glasses?
people usually start need reading glasses around fortys. Some are younger, some are older. If you are only going to use your glasses "as needed" for reading, etc., then the drugstore/discount store types should be fine for you. However, if you are going to be wearing them for extended periods then it is worth it to get an eye exam and some good prescription lenses. They are expensive but worth it in my opinion. I got progressives because I was sick of taking them on and off constantly. Bifocals would work too.
