  • For the first few weeks, you may find it hard to put the contact lenses on since you haven't worn them before. That's quite normal. Getting used to the contacts takes a little time. But once you get used to them, they are much easy to put in.

  • people usually start need reading glasses around fortys. Some are younger, some are older. If you are only going to use your glasses "as needed" for reading, etc., then the drugstore/discount store types should be fine for you. However, if you are going to be wearing them for extended periods then it is worth it to get an eye exam and some good prescription lenses. They are expensive but worth it in my opinion. I got progressives because I was sick of taking them on and off constantly. Bifocals would work too.

  • I guess you are meaning make your glasses and the cheap reading glasses you bought in the market into one lens ? There is no way to work on the original lenses ,and you need to get a new pair of bifocal glasses . The upper part is for close work such as sewing and the lower part is for regular vision.

  • You don't have to need solution on your finger before you put it in, you only need wash your hands before putting the lenses in. When you begin to insert them, use a magnifying mirror to watch the lens come in and touch the eye. Once you feel the cold, then remove the finger and slowly close the eye. Then you are ready to go to the next one. Remember to keep both eyes open and mustn't blink.

  • I think the averge charges for a lasik surgery is about $2000-3000, it is affordable. But the excat cost for you is dedtermined by several factors, the places you choose to do the surgery, your corneal thickness and pupil size, the prescription of your eyes.

  • Computer glasses are special glasses prescribed to lessen the symptoms associated with computer vision syndrome (CVS). CVS describes a group of symptoms caused by prolonged computer use. Symptoms appear because the eyes and brain react differently to words on a computer screen than they do to printed text. Symptoms often include eyestrain, dry eyes, headaches and blurred vision. Many people try to compensate for these vision problems by leaning forward or by looking down to see through the bottom portion of their glasses, often resulting in back and shoulder pain. • 1. Take good care of your eyes, never put extra strain on your eyes to slow down the rate of worsening. 2. Wear eyeglasses that is exactly suitable for your present prescription. 3. Wear contact lenses with special care (stored properly, clean and in good shape). 4. Wear sunglasses when in bright light. 5. Wear computer glasses when sitting in front of television or computer screen.

  • You can try to put a little dishwashing liquid inside of the goggles, which may help stop your goggles from fogging up. Or you can get another pair of anti-fog basketball goggles.

  • The color of the glasses frames and lenses also depends on the color of your color of the skin.If you have light skin color, you may try blue or grey;if you have tanned skin, you may try purple or brown.
