  • Although doing eye exercises won't improve eye vision, it can strengthen eye muscles to keep your eyes healthy. What's more, some kinds of food are good for our eye vision.Carrots, milk, cheese, egg yolk and liver which are rich in vitamin A, can avoid getting dry eye. Eating a moderate amount of fish can lower the chance of getting AMD. So adding these kinds of food into your diet can improve your vision to some degree.

  • Hi! It depends from person to person, many find that only 0.25 have no difference, but some people are more sensitive. You can make a multifocal glasses yes, but the peripheral vision , cuz it will be somewhat distorted because of astigmatism (distortion) that all sides have multifocal, but some have less, others more. If you wear glasses only for reading it, away you do not need glasses, you can make an intermediate glasses with lenses. It means having the middle ground and near, more free from distortion and wider fields. This lens is ideal for people who work very closely with the vision (eg architect, asrtista plastic).

  • I guess you are meaning make your glasses and the cheap reading glasses you bought in the market into one lens ? There is no way to work on the original lenses ,and you need to get a new pair of bifocal glasses . The upper part is for close work such as sewing and the lower part is for regular vision.

  • Such an obvious thing may not be that obvious to everyone after all. Contact lenses can and should be worn with sunglasses. As the contact lenses fix the vision, power is no longer needed in sunglasses. There is no problem in ”wearing two pair of glasses on top of each other” as some people see it. I may ask from those wondering this issue if contact lenses are bothering you when you look through the wind shield of your car while driving? Maybe the comparison is not the best one, but it well illustrates that there is no problem in wearing both sunglasses and contact lenses. With contact lenses, many people can for the first time freely select their sunglasses. You don’t need to think what kind of frames your lenses are suitable for. • it should depend on which vision insurance you have . Vision insurance policies typically cover routine eye exams and other procedures, and provide specified dollar amounts or discounts for the purchase of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Some vision insurance policies also offer discounts on refractive surgery, such as LASIK and PRK. If you are not sure ,why not call the insurance center and get a definite answer ?

  • I guess that maybe caused by some infections or migraines. Some people get a blurred vision and headache which is a "aura" of migraine. You may go to the ophthalmologist to have a careful eye exam, not only for her prescription but also for eye diseases. If still shows nothing unusual, please let her do a body check, especially for her brain.
