  • Such an obvious thing may not be that obvious to everyone after all. Contact lenses can and should be worn with sunglasses. As the contact lenses fix the vision, power is no longer needed in sunglasses. There is no problem in ”wearing two pair of glasses on top of each other” as some people see it. I may ask from those wondering this issue if contact lenses are bothering you when you look through the wind shield of your car while driving? Maybe the comparison is not the best one, but it well illustrates that there is no problem in wearing both sunglasses and contact lenses. With contact lenses, many people can for the first time freely select their sunglasses. You don’t need to think what kind of frames your lenses are suitable for. • If you have a strong strengh of prescription which is over 600, it is not recommend to change your regular sunglasses to prescription ones .because the lens will be more thicker if you have a higher prescription which will lead to thicker edge but thinner in the center . the color on the lens will not homogeneous .you can use the clip-on sunglasses . if your strengh is low ,most vision stores can do that for you .

  • Yeah.Reading glasses are different from computer glasses. Reading glasses have the focus on the distance you would normally hold a book while computer glasses have the focus on the distance from your eyes to the computer screen. Computer glasses can not only reduce glare and the intensity of the light produced by the computer monitor but also block UV rays produced by monitors and fluorescent lighting.

  • The regular glasses you wear don’t really provide the accurate vision correction for the distances typical in computer work. With computer glasses, the powers are particularly adjusted for the computer vision distances, But if you use it to see things far away which is more than the certain distance , it will blurry your eyes . So computer glasses are only used for computer work . Don't wear them if you don't need .If you want to be sexy , you can get some non prescription glasses and they are much cheaper .

  • Here are some tips I found ,hope there can help you. Wash hands with a powerful disinfectant before touching the lens To wear on the right eye, place the lens in your pointing finger of your left hand Always keep your finger moist when handling the lens, but not really wet Add saline solution on the lens Lift upper lid of the right eye with the right pointing finger, while lowering the lower eyelid by looking with the right thumb Now slowly place the lens anywhere in the center of the eyeball When the lens is placed don't look at the mirror but look at the lens as you take off your fingers Your lens is all fixed and your comfortable after a few blinks . source :http://contactlensesmall.com/Wear-Contact-Lenses/

  • There is no need if you have perfect eyesight and have no problem seeing clearly. The best way to keep your eyes healthy is to take frequent breaks from the computer and focus seeing the objects distant in order to give your eyes enough rest.

  • It is normal to have a scar/dent after long time wearing of glasses but you don't need to worry about it. It is not permanent, but it will fade if you use your glasses well. You can try wearing glasses with extra soft nose pads and light weighted glasses so that they exert minimum pressure on the skin and minimize pressure on it. It will also be helpful if you take your glasses off and massage the places on the nose after several hours of wearing.

  • When you first wear the contact lenses, it needs time to adjust to it then it can be clear. Sometimes as soon as you put them in, you may have a stinging or burning sensation for a few days. But several days later it will get normal.

  • Yes, if it is first time for you to wear computer glasses, it might take a week or more to get used to them. If you are sure about the strength which should be weaker than your normal prescription, give yourself more time for the accommodation. If the problem still exists then, don't hesitate to make an appointment to see your doctor.
