Too much intake coffee is possible to lead to eye twitching. But this eye twitching is painless and harmless. It usually goes away on its own. But it can be quite annoying. Some severe eye twitching can lead to dry eyes, pink eye, light sensitivity and blepharitis.

Have you often drink coffee in your daily life? Or it is your habit when you wake up? I think the relationship between the coffee drinking and twitching is like this, abundant coffee taking will make your nerves exciting all the time till lack of sleeping. Lack of sleeping makes your eyes fatigue, the strain in your eyes will lead to twitching. You may relax and have hot compress in your eyes, doing some sports outside with fresh air and watching green plants. Reduce the taking of coffee for a while, hope your eyes get well soon.

Yes, drinking too much coffee can cause eye twitching. My eye doctor told me that coffee is a stimulus things. People intake too much coffee may suffer palpitation. The caffeine in the coffee can affect the nerve condution, thus further lead to eye twitching. Besides, lasking of sleep and and eye strain can also lead to eye twitches. SO, If you want to get rid of eye twitching, you shall take a good rest and keep inbalance diet.

No, it is not normal for you to twitch your eyes if you drink too much coffee. Your twitching symptom may be caused by the eyes infection. You need to use the eyes drops with anti-inflammation to let the eyes get back to the normal state. You could also use the warm compress to make the eyes feel comfortable.
