Can high blood pressure cause itchy eyes?

What are the side effects on eyes because of high blood pressure? Is it possible lead to itchy eyes? How can i reduce it?

    Generally speaking, it's possible to give rise to itchy eyes more or less because of high blood pressure. When you get high blood pressure, it can lead to high eye pressure. And in that way, it can just affect your eyes and make your eyes have some strange feelings even result in itchy eyes. In addition, there are other side effects on eyes because of high blood pressure, such as dilated pupils, broken blood vessels or even eye bleeding. Hence, it is important to form a good life habit, such as regular diets, controlling the weight, doing appropriate exercises. Furthermore, you are supposed to go to the hospital for an eye examination and control the blood pressure in a strict way in case of damage to your eyes.

    There are many side effects on eyes because of high blood pressure. Your eyes may easily get dry. In addition, your eyes may get redness which may lead to itchy eyes. You should keep the good mood to avoid such problems. You should eat more food with vitamin C and A to make the eyes keep moisture. You could often do the warm compress to make the eyes feel comfortable.

    There are many side effects of high blood pressure. There is no direct link between high blood pressure and itchy eyes. But as it has many side effects on eyes, there is a possibility that it can result in itchy eyes somehow, after all high blood pressure is a systemic disease which might impact brain, heart, artery and kidney. High blood pressure might cause strain on the blood vessels. As blood vessels in eyes are too small to stand the pressure, it might get broken and hemorrhage in eyes would be resulted. It might cause fluid built up under the retina and damage the nerve cells. As high blood pressure would stiffen the artery and block the blood supply, with deficient nutrition, your eyes might get dry which can resulted in itching eyes. But in most cases, itchy eyes are caused by dryness or allergic reaction. To stop the itchiness, you should moisturize your eyes and wash them out of allergens.
