Is smoking bad for night vision?

I know that smoking is bad for eyes. But i wonder if smoke too much also affect our night vision? Why or why not ?

Besides, if you want to keep good night vision, you shall tale more vegetables such green leafy stuff. Also, carrots but spinach or dark leaf lettuce are also good for your eyes.
