There are several distinctions between safety glasses and safety goggles. First of all, safety goggles have a rubber or soft plastic seal that touches the face so that the goggles can enclose the protected area on the face. But the safety glasses only cover the area of eyes. In addition, safety glasses usually have large lenses, like sunglasses, and are generally made of clear plastic, while safety goggles offer more complete protection against chemical splashes and projectiles. According to their differences in design and materials, therefore, they are applied in different ways. Safety glasses are generally intended for shielding people's eyes from small pieces of debris and are available to most home improvement projects such as when you are extracting nails, you should always make sure to don a pair of safety glasses. Safety goggles, however, are generally used in large scale construction projects to effectively shield your eyes from heavy-duty debris. Either if you want to buy a pair of safety glasses or a a pair of goggles, you can refer to the following website for more information.

Yes, safety glasses and safety goggles are different in two aspects: For one, safety glasses are made up of glasses and earpieces. While, safety goggles are often attached to your head with straps. For the other, safety glasses are most widely used at home, as they can protect the eyes from small debris. When it comes to construction or industry appliance, safety goggles will work better as them can block the bigger debris of heavy duty.

They can not be interchangeable. I mean, safety glasses are used to shield your eyes from small pieces of debris, while safety goggles are more suited for use in large scale construction projects or other heavy-duty debris. Although they seem to be made from the same type of shatter-proof, heat-resistant plastic. You can not try to use the safety glasses to protect your eyes from hobbies, special jobs or environments that require the protection and features only safety goggles can provide. Besides, their design are different. Safety glasses are held on by two bulky earpieces, while with an adjustable strap, safety goggles are designed to be affixed to your head so that they can stay on your head more tightly than a similar pair of safety glasses. As a result, when you choose the safety glasses, you need to take the possibility of falling off at undesirable times because of its bulky nature.

Goggles enclose the protected area (they have a rubber/soft plastic seal that touches the face), while glasses just cover the eyes. Safety glasses usually have large lenses, like sunglasses, and are made of clear plastic. Safety goggles offer more complete protection against chemical splashes and projectiles.
