You'd better stop smoking weed when you are with a hyphema. Or else, smoking will stimulate your eyes nerves which will make your hyphema get serious. You need to have good rest for the eyes, not sitting in front of the computers for a long time with little rest. You could also use some warm compress to make your eyes get comfortable.

A hyphema is blood in the anterior chamber, located between the cornea and the iris and called as a colored part of our eyes. You must be advised to be "quiet" in your life during the first week, I mean, you are supposed to do everything without irritating your eyes or just stay in the hospital till the red cells fall and the eyes become normal. Well, scientific evidences have proven that most hyphema can be totally cured with little, or even without permanent damage based on individual conditions. In some degree, you may still smoke after 2 months. Besides, goggles with a band around the back will be recommended in the first month, especially when you try to play basketball. But as we all know, our eyes signal the health condition of our other organs by symptoms like eye strain, eye dryness, watery eyes and red eyes, indicating more serious diseases. If you pay no attention to them, and then, iris recession, retinal detachment or common retina can occur. Furthermore, it is generally accepted that smoking really causes health risks, such as emphysema, bronchitis, heart attacks and stroke and even cancers. It may be a good beginning for you to quit smoking.
