Will quitting smoking get rid of dark circles under eyes?

My sister is 19 years old. She has been smoking since she was 17 years old. She was wondering how she could get rid of the dark circles under her eyes. I want her to give up smoking so I told her that giving up smoking will help solve her problem. But I don't know whether quitting smoking can get rid of dark circles or not. Can you tell me?

Smoking can reduce the symptom but I think it can't cure the dark circles, because your sister's dark circles may be caused by other reasons. You can urge her to have enough sleep and reduce caffeine intake. Oh, I think she should also avoid alcohol. If possible, she should also stay out of the sun or wear sunglasses when she is outside. Hope this helps.

I think stop smoking can help her to get rid of dark circles. I believe that cigarette smoke is linked to dark circles. If she quit smoking, the dark circles beneath her eyes can improve. But I think you can tell her that you don't want her to smoke because smoking is bad for her health and the smoke in the room will badly affect the health of the family members.
