  The material of these lenses is made of Trivex that is composed of a urethane-based monomer. They just look like a regular plastic lens, but it is lighter and have better qualities. Trivex has the advantage of crisper optics than polycarbonate lenses.

  Trivex lenses are made from rival lens material by PPG Industries in 2001. The same as polycarbonate lenses, Trivex lenses are also characterized thin, lightweight and impact-resistant. Besides, compared with regular plastic and glass lenses, Trivex lenses can provide the eyes UV rays without add special UV-blocking lens coatings that regular lenses needed.
