Do I need new prescription for new disposable contacts lenses?

I just got my prescription glasses about two months ago. Now I am considering getting some disposable contact lenses. do I need another exam? Would the prescription I have two months ago work?

Yes, you need an eye exam for the contacts .There are special tests that typically are not performed in routine eye exams for eyeglasses to see whether you are the right candidate for contacts . The doctor will check whether you are irritating to the contacts and the curvature of the cornea are suitable for wearing contacts . When they make sure there are no problems , then you can wear contacts . Being safe is always better for your eyes .

Definitely you need . The exam for contacts and glasses are quite different . Don't save the money at the risk of your eyes' health.
