  Computer glasses are special glasses prescribed to lessen the symptoms associated with computer vision syndrome (CVS). CVS describes a group of symptoms caused by prolonged computer use. Symptoms appear because the eyes and brain react differently to words on a computer screen than they do to printed text. Symptoms often include eyestrain, dry eyes, headaches and blurred vision. Many people try to compensate for these vision problems by leaning forward or by looking down to see through the bottom portion of their glasses, often resulting in back and shoulder pain. You can go to your doctor and ask for suggestions or you may get from online stores.

  Nowadays many people spend long time working on computer,which will causecomputer vision syndrome (CVS), including eyestrain, headaches, dry eyes, and blurred vision. So computer glasses are used to protect from CVS by blocking harmful ultra-violet (UV) rays and reducing glare. Some people wear computer glasses without prescription only for preventing radiation. While some people wear computer glasses with prescription not only for anti-radiation but also for correcting the vision. You should go to your optician to get your computer glasses if you need prescription glasses. You can also buy them online if you know your prescription.

  Computer glasses are prescription glasses that are designed to wear when doing computer work. They allow you to focus your eyes on a computer screen, which is farther away than reading material is normally
  held. There are other activities such as for example playing piano(piano glasses) or shooting (shooting glasses) that also require a similar custom fitting. These specialty glasses called "task-specific"
  are designed to meet the visual needs of the activity. General purpose bifocals are not designed for computer work. They force the wearer to tilt the head back in order to focus on the screen while looking through the lower segment of the bifocal lenses. Such a forced
  position can cause neck and shoulder pain and it can also cause arm and
