Contact lenses it take more time to be adapted to contact lenses than converional eyeglasses 2. contact lenses need to be handled more carefully following certain hygienic procedures, especially those made of soft lenses which tear easily 3. Contact lenses are much easier to be lost due to their size and nature. 4. contact lenses command a price higher than the regular eyeglasses 5. Contact lenses can make your eyes much easier to be infected and cause eye diseases.

  Compared with glasses, contact lenses will cause dry eye. Wearing contact lenses is very troublesome because you must take the contact lenses out every night and clean them in the contact solution.

  If you have poor hygiene and contact lens maintenance, wearing contact lenses will make your eyes infected. Wearing contact lenses would be more unsafe than wearing eyeglasses.
