In which situation should I not wear contacts?

When I was buying contacts, my doctor told me some certain situation I should not wear contacts, but I can't remember that. In which situation should I not wear contacts?

First, you shouldn't wear contacts when you play computer. Second, you shouldn't wear contacts when you have a cold or fever. Third, don't sleep with contacts in your eyes overnight. Finally, you'd better not wear contacts in a sandy and dusty day.

Personally speaking, I would not suggest people to wear contacts. There is a higher risk of getting infection than wearing glasses. But to your question, I think don't wear your contacts when you use the computer otherwise your eyes could get extremely dry and can even hurt.
