My eyes are still red and sore after a few weeks after cataract operation?

I had a cataract operation on my right eye a few weeks before and it was successful then. But now I found my eyes were red and very sore. Can this be the surgery complication?

It has nothing to do with cataract operation since it occurs a few weeks after cataract operation. It is probably caused by conjunctivitis or a dry eye. You can go to your doctor and he will prescrible some antibiotic eye drops for you to treat your problem.

As the surgery is successful, I think it should not be surgery complication. It may be caused by conjunctivitis or a dry eye. You can try to use antibiotic eye drops first. Otherwise you need to see the doctor.
